- Baby Store Fitting Services
The Capsule King conducts several Child Restraint Fitting Services at various Baby Store locations.
This is provided as a service to the store & the stores customers
primarily,but is extended to all people who need the service.
Fittings are by appointment only & should be booked in through the
relevant store.
What Will We Do ?
The Capsule King will:
- Help you select the best location in the car to install your child restraint.
- Install the child restraint properly for you.
- Take you through how to use & adjust your child restraint.
- Advise you of the stages, weights or time to make adjustments to your child restraint.
- Provide you with a Certificate stating that the child restraints have been properly installed into your vehicle.
Will You Need any Parts or Accessories ?
Often child restraints require parts or accessories to ensure they fit to vehicles properly.
The installation service does not includes parts or accessories .
The restraint installer will asssess exactly what you need & advise you of the cost prior to the installation of your restraint.
Typical Parts or Accessories That May Be Required :
Gated Buckle - A locking clip fitted to the lap sash seat belt to keep the restraint firmly fitted.
300mm or 600mm Extension Straps - Required when the restraints tether strap is unable to reach to the vehicles anchor point. (Common for older hatchbacks , station wagons & 4WD's)
Anchor Kit - Required when your vehicle has a threaded anchor point provision, but has no bracket & bolt installed to hook the restraint to.
Our vans are stocked with a complete range of restraint accessories required to properly install your child restraint.
When To Book In
- General
We are quite a flexible service & can generally respond to most needs within a few days if needed, however we suggest that you book in as early as you can to ensure we can help you.
- Expecting A New Born
We recommend that you have your child restraint installed at least 2 Weeks before your Due Date if possible. This ensures that you are organized in the event that your baby comes early.
- Changing Over To Another Car
If purchasing a new car, it can often be difficult to co-ordinate the changeover for a number of reasons. Often the dealers cannot promise an exact date & time. It is best off if you can contact us as soon as you become aware of a delivery date & advise us of your requirements. We will attempt to meet your needs. If details change you should notify us as soon as possible so that we can alter the schedule.
